This is where "I love you" was spoken for the first time and truly made our love for one another well know.
This is where those 3 words "I love you" were spoken for the first time. Aside from this place being a staple for our love story, it is one of the best places to explore if you like the outdoors. You get to take a brisk walk along the Missouri River. There are even Bird electric scooters that you can rent if you prefer a faster pace! And, for the gamblers out there, you're conveniently located to the newly remodeled Bally's casino! You can actually check out their website at the following link > https://casinos.ballys.com/kansas-city/
Trying to elevate your experience? This dispensary is only 1 minute down the road from the venue. The wedding venue is 420 friendly and will have a designated smoking area.
National World War 1 Museum and Memorial and an amazing city view on the deck!
Lots of activites to do at Union Station, including shops, Science City, Escape Rooms, restaurants, coffee, and more!
A really neat place to go for an indoor "mall-like" shopping experience with many shops and restaurants, and an outdoor ice skating rink!
One of our favorite places to go whenever it is nice outside! Lots of local shops and farmers market. There is also a really nice spice place to check out and to 'spice' up your cooking > Planters Seed & Spice CO

Definitely a popular spot to go to in KC, especially if you love the outdoors and a strip full of different shops and restaurants. You will also be conveniently close to The Cheesecake Factory 😋
Looking to shop? The Legends Outlets in KC has you covered! The best part is that it is mostly outdoors, has many shops, and there is the AMC movie theater!
One thing that Kansas City is well known for is their signature BBQ. One of the go-to and best BBQ places in Kansas City is Q39. You have to go to the Midtown location as this is the 'OG' location. This place never disappoints! But of course, there are many other places to check out as well.
One of our favorite breakfast places to go to in KC and it is fairly close from the wedding venue and nearby hotels! We have never been disappointed. If you love fresh squeezed orange juice, this is the place to get it from!
One of the BEST chicken wing spots in KC! The wings are quite large and fried in peanut oil. The downtown "OG" location is the one to go to, but there are other locations that are geared for a more 'modern' sports/pub feel. Also to note, the wings are tossed in a house-made buffalo-style sauce and can be dipped in house-made ranch or blue cheese.
In the mood for viewing art from many different cultures around the world? Definitely stop by the Nelson-Atkins Museum if you find the time. The museum is very large and has so much that you can do that it can be overwhelming. But if you're hungry and want to relax, you can either eat in the cafeteria, or have a picnic outside!
In the mood for baseball and history? Check out the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, which is in reasonable distance from the Nelson-Atkins Museum and Union Station.
Trying to "turn up" or shake what your momma gave you? Be sure to save that late-night energy and visit the Kansas City Power & Light District (P&L)! You will find plenty of local bars, clubs, and good food there. Just know that this area gets VERY congested and is a popular night-scene in KC.
Got the Need for Speed? This is one of the fastest electric go-kart experience that you will get in KC 🏁 Aside from ripping up the track, there is an arcade and food that can be ordered if you get hungry!
